About Me

            Hello, I am Yangxu Wu. I came from China. I have been to Hawaii for three years. Now, I am

taking my undergraduate school at Hawaii Pacific University, after one more semester I will be

graduated from HPU. I like novel, movies, music, comic book, games and traveling too. The movie

which I like the most is "The Shawshank Redemption". The comic book I like the most is Marvel

series comic book.

            I crate this website because, now I am taking a "Writing For Digital Media". Creating a blog

is a course requirement, but I am glad to be here and I hope I can meet some interesting people here.

Act of War

Act of War             Act of war is a really great documentary. It reveal the truth of what Hawaiian history from ancient time to now, and how was Hawaiian been taken by America and what after what have Hawaiian people meet. However, it is not only a great documentary on its meaning but its editing skills, audio, and photography. Act of War produced in association with the Center for Hawaiian Studies, University of Hawaii was first aired in 1993.             Editing Technic, they used a lot of transitions inside of this movie like they used video of storm as a transition, when they are telling about Hawaiian people in dangers and meet prejudice. Also when they have images of a story. They will use old pictures and doing zoom in and zoom out effect as transition.
